The Director of Education oversees the educational and philosophical integrity of the school, which serves approximately 230 children ages eighteen months to fifteen years in four levels: Toddler, Primary, Elementary, and Erdkinder. Major responsibilities include admissions, program management and evaluation, support and leadership for faculty, and parent liaison.
The MMS campus is located in a uniquely beautiful setting on the San Francisco Bay in scenic Marin County. Announces AMI Elementary Trainer Fellowship
To Begin Fall 2010
The Washington Montessori Institute is expanding to respond to the growing interest in Montessori education. Loyola University Maryland has established a new fully funded fellowship for an AMI Elementary Montessori Trainer.
Outline of Trainer Fellowship
- $40,000 stipend per year during training
- University benefit package
- Faculty appointment upon completion of training
- Commitment to position of AMI Trainer at WMI at Loyola for 5 years minimum
Candidate Requirements
- Be accepted into the AMI Elementary Training of Trainers Program *
- Complete application process with WMI at Loyola
- Demonstrate leadership ability
