Newberry House Montessori School, situated on the picturesque Lourensford Wine Estate outside Cape Town, South Africa, aims to deliver a world-class education to learners from 18 months all the way through to 18 years.

One of our aims is to become one of the first AMI schools in sub-Saharan Africa, and we are therefore looking for a suitably AMI-qualified and experienced Elementary Guide to set up and lead our second Upper

Elementary environment (9-12 years) in 2019.

We are also pioneering a Montessori Adolescent programme for 12-15-year-olds, and our High School students follow the Cambridge International curriculum.

If you have the appetite to be part of a pioneering school that can help shift educational paradigms and effectively prepare today’s children for tomorrow, this may be the right opportunity for you.

The School will also be able to assist with work visa applications.

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience leading an Upper Elementary Environment for 9-12-year-olds according to AMI standards
