UPPER ELEMENTARY HEAD GUIDE
Sunny Hollow Montessori, an Associated Montessori Internationale (AMI) recognized school, is seeking an experienced Upper Elementary Head Guide for late summer/fall of 2020. Located on the Mississippi River in St. Paul, Sunny Hollow is uniquely situated in a beautiful natural area with close access to commerce in the Highland Village.
Successful candidates will be excited to work collaboratively in an authentic Montessori environment, have a positive attitude and be passionate about delivering an exceptional educational experience that incorporates an equity and inclusion lens. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability to work with parents and staff in order to accomplish the mission and vision of our school. They will also hold an Elementary Diploma from an AMI training center, have at least 3 years of teaching experience. This position is full time during the academic year.
Started in 1981 as a primary program, Sunny Hollow Montessori is a growing independent, nonprofit school serving over 180 children from ages 16 months through 14 years. Our elementary program was started in 2006 as one 6-12 classroom. Currently, there is one Toddler Community, three Casas, two Lower and two Upper Elementary classrooms as well as an Adolescent Program through grade 8.
