Madrid Montessori School is looking for a native English speaker with a working knowledge of receptive and expressive Spanish or bilingual (English/Spanish) AMI Elementary Co-Teacher or Elementary Assistant to work full time in one of our 6-12 environments from August 2021.
Our school is an English immersion Montessori programme located in Madrid’s city center, with a community of 150 children. We will be going into our 16th year of life, having evolved from one small Children’s House in 2006 to one Infant Community, two Children’s Houses and three Elementary environments currently. We are an international group of Montessorians truly committed to the AMI principles.
We have one opening on our team, which could be filled with either an Elementary Co-Teacher (which would suit an AMI 6-12 trained guide) or an Elementary Assistant (would suit an AMI 6-12 student currently in training, a 6-12 Assistant Certificate holder or a 3-6 guide interested in the second plane of development). The ideal candidate is a person who is deeply committed to Montessori theory and practice, and embraces personal growth and a love of learning.
